Live Connect Requirements
NOTE Kaseya Live Connect does not support 4K resolution monitors.
Live Connect App
Connects with all Windows and Apple supported agents. You can install the Live Connect app on:
- Microsoft Windows 10, 11 (64 bit)
- Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019 , 2022 (64 bit)
- macOS 10.15,11,12,13
NOTE When using the Live Connect application on a Windows machine with multiple displays, where one display is 150% or higher, you may encounter display issues moving the window between displays. To correct this, change the scale on all displays to 125% or lower.
You cannot install the Live Connect app on Linux.
Live Connect can be used to connect with VSA Agents running the following systemd-based Linux distributions / versions:
- CentOS/Red Hat Enterprise (RHEL) 7.x, 8.x
- Debian 9x, 10x, 11x
- OpenSUSE Leap 42.3, 15.x
- Suse Linux Enterprise (SLES) 12, 15
- Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, 20.04 LTS, 22.04 LTS
NOTE Open UDP/TCP Outbound Port 3478 from "viewer" and "agent" networks to stun.kaseya.com to optimize Kaseya Remote Control performance (recommended)
Live Connect on Demand
- Target machines must have internet access.
Bandwidth Requirements
Bandwidth requirements can vary widely, depending on the functions used. Remote desktop and file transfers can potentially consume large amounts of bandwidth, depending on screen resolution, complexity and file size.
